    Biography

    Stephen Eatinger, who we know as Tate Stevens, was born March 1, 1975 in Belton, Missouri. In his early career, Tate has been associated with a few bands; Dixie Cadillacs, Outlaw Junkies, & Tate Stevens Band. Aside from his music career, which was boldly put off, Tate raised a family with his wife and had a daughter. His old job was working on roads in his hometown of Belton.

    Finally, Tate decided that it was time to pursue his career by auditioning for the famous television show, The X Factor USA. He auditioned with the song, “Anything Goes” by Randy Houser and was chosen by the four judges to go on to the next round. After all of his hard work, Tate was finally chosen as the winner on December 20th, 2012 and was signed to a $5 million record label at Sony Music. He was also scheduled to move to Nashville, Tennessee to being working on his debut album to be released in 2013.
